In Cameroon, Doug and Jacquie teach at the Bible Institute, training couples to be leaders in their churches who have a solid biblical foundation. They instruct their students to go beyond preaching and become good shepherds of their flocks. Since many of the women never learned to read, Jacquie’s efforts with them focus on literacy in addition to biblical training, equipping them to understand the gospel for themselves and to share it with others. More than seeing comprehensive biblical knowledge in their students, Doug and Jacquie want to witness lives transformed and lived for the glory of Christ. God is already moving through the lives of these couples.
