Encompass World Partners is delighted to announce that Dave Pacheco will join our staff as the new Director of Mobilization and Recruitment.

Dave brings a strong profile and a track record of fruitful ministry to this role.

• Pastor in the Charis Fellowship for 12 years, including time at Delaware (Ohio) Grace as a lead pastor and associate pastor with a strong emphasis on youth and young adults
• Central Region member of the Fellowship Council of the Charis Fellowship
• Worked at Wheaton Academy (Illinois) in communications in the mid-2000s
• Worked in recruitment at Grace College in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
• Worked in sales in the insurance industry in the last several years
• Has a bachelor’s degree in communications from Grace College and a master’s degree in professional communication from Purdue University

Dave grew up in Winona Lake, Indiana, and has strong missions background as part of Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church and the Pacheco family. His mother, Miriam, served on the Encompass board of directors for approximately a dozen years until 2012. Dave has been the “point pastor” for missions at Delaware Grace and has traveled overseas multiple times leading mission trips, including with Encompass.

Dave and his wife, Esther, are the parents of two teenage sons. Esther works as a clinical counselor with children. She also spent a year in Mexico after college as a Stint worker with Cru.

Dave is an engaging personality, makes people feel heard and valued, provides high accessibility, and has experience overseeing teams. We are excited about Dave joining the Encompass team in this important role beginning October 1, 2023.
