Encounter Atlanta is a five-day missions training experience in one of the most ethnically diverse cities in the United States. On this trip, you will not only learn about other cultures, but you will also spend time with people from those cultures, learning how to share your faith with others from all backgrounds.
Experiencing Atlanta’s diversity shows you God’s heart for the nations and reveals that there are people who don’t know the Lord right in front of you—you don’t have to cross the world to cross cultures!
WHO CAN GO?
This trip is ideal for churches, youth groups, small groups, colleges, individuals, and families. Connect with one of our mobilizers to see if this opportunity is a good fit for you!
Encounter Atlanta provides you with a new understanding of multiple world religions, including Islam and Hinduism. You will learn how to cross cultural barriers with the hope of the gospel. While your passion and knowledge to live on-mission for Jesus grows, you will become more solid in your biblical worldview. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in local outreach through impactful ministry on the ground.
- Encounter beauty in the complexity of diverse cultures.
- Encounter major religions of the world.
- Encounter God’s heart for the nations, especially the least reached.
