If you lived in a least-reached country and a foreigner moved to your town, wouldn’t it be weird if the foreigner never seemed to work? Wouldn’t you respect him a lot more if he worked right beside you at a local business that was contributing to society? That’s the advantage of doing business as missions: it develops trust a lot faster, which makes people more receptive to the gospel. God has entrusted you with talents in entrepreneurship, business development, or people management. You have an opportunity to leverage those skills to make disciples where most people know nothing of God’s grace. Encompass has several teams that use business to introduce people to Jesus, and your talents would be a huge asset!
