The 2026 summer internship in France offers a unique opportunity to live out your faith, grow spiritually, and get a first-hand look at life on the mission field…all while building deep, meaningful connections with people from around the world.

What’s the Internship All About?

Interns spend a month immersed in real missionary life, living and serving alongside experienced global workers in the vibrant and diverse city of Chambéry, France. It’s more than a short-term trip, it’s a chance to truly walk in the shoes of missionaries while seeking God’s direction for your future.

Key Elements of the Internship

• Live in Community: Interns live with teammates and mentors, experiencing the joys and challenges of intentional Christian community.
• Language School & Cross-Cultural Connection: Interns attend French language school, where they meet and engage with classmates from all over the world…many of whom are from unreached or post-Christian backgrounds.
• Share the Gospel Naturally: Everyday conversations at school, cafés, and meetups become natural bridges to share your faith in Christ, often with people hearing it for the first time.
• Learn from Experienced Missionaries: Interns are mentored by seasoned cross-cultural workers who guide them through real-life ministry, spiritual formation, and discernment.
• Grow Spiritually: Through daily life, Bible study, and reflection, interns experience deep personal and spiritual growth as they encounter God in a cross-cultural context.

Last Summer: Real Stories, Real Impact

• One intern discipled a new believer from a post-Christian country who had never met another young Christian before. Their friendship helped deepen a brand-new faith and may have long-term ripple effects for the Kingdom.
• Another intern ministered to a student who had been hurt by a negative experience with church.
• Interns built friendships with students from Ukraine, Turkey, Armenia, and more…gaining a heart for the nations through one-on-one relationships.

What to Expect

• A structured but flexible rhythm of language classes, community life, mentoring, and cultural engagement
• Regular opportunities to serve, learn, and share in both everyday settings and ministry contexts
• Deep connection with the local French church and exposure to global missions networks doing ministry in France
• A chance to discern God’s leading…whether toward long-term missions or deeper faithfulness wherever you’re called

Logistics 

• Timeline: May 28 – June 24, 2026
• Support Goal: $3,100 + airfare
• Housing: Lodging will be arranged for each location and may include a shared apartment with other interns or local staff.
• Transportation: You will utilize local public transportation.
