Barb Wooler, Director of Crisis Response at Encompass World Partners has issued a video update (video below) on the organization’s involvement with the restoration of communities wrecked by Hurricane Matthew. As you may recall, this tragic storm swept through the Caribbean causing significant damage.

As war and scarcity impact the lives of so many in central Africa, Encompass World Partners continues its mission to showcase the love and mercy of God. Through ministries that aim to meet the mental and physical needs of the least of these, Encompass global workers joyfully share Christ as they serve his people. Currently, three types of ministries exist to care for the vulnerable: Orphan Schools, Widow Care, and Medical Aid.

Of all the damage caused by the recent civil war in the Central African Republic, some of the worst has been the terrorizing of vulnerable women and children.


Jamie is a tech-savvy, community oriented, well-informed, innovative, compassionate, authentic global citizen. She loves opportunities where she can be a part of a cause or movement that brings about a greater good. Her general interest in making the world a better place is one of her most admirable qualities. Jamie is a millennial Christian and proud of it.



If you’ve been tracking with this blog for any amount of time, it’s obvious that we exist to send more fruitful disciple-making teams to the least reached. But, you’re right…not everyone is supposed to go overseas to share the gospel. And for those God has called to remain in their home culture, there is a responsibility.
