Dadje's Dream

As a young child, Dadje Samuel was drawn to the small Sunday School that recently opened in his African village. A few years after accepting Christ, he approached his father to ask permission to be baptized. His father’s violent reaction forced Dadje to flee home and seek refuge with a relative.

On November 19, 2017, Encompass World Partners Executive Director Dave Guiles had the privilege of speaking at Cornerstone Church in Simi Valley, California. He shared the inspiring story of Dadje Samuel, who overcame severe adversity to become a warrior for the cause of Jesus Christ in Africa.

Lynn Hoyt, Former Missionary to Argentina, Dies

Encompass recently received word of the passing of former missionary Lynn Hoyt. Lynn and his wife Mary served with us in Argentina from 1975 to 1988. He was 69. He was the son of Kathryn and the late Solon Hoyt, who served in Argentina from 1945 to 1983.
