Gospel witness can start with buying someone a cup of coffee, or by helping someone thousands of miles away get a cup of coffee. In the fall of 2018, students at Grace College in Indiana were able to make a tangible difference in a coffee operation in Southeast Asia, without even leaving campus.

Disasters like these are reminders that the world is a broken place where terrible things happen, but we as the church can be a part of God’s redemptive work to bring help and hope to people in crisis.

Late night, in a sweet-smelling coffee shop on a college campus, I listen to the struggles of a girl who does not know what to do with the call God has given her. She sits there, transparent, pouring out her life story and seeking direction. I hear her heart, and I learn alongside her. Moments like this are why I became a Missions Mobilizer.
