Encompass staff members Bill and Becky Kiddoo work with refugees and displaced people in the United Kingdom. The "Speaking Allowed" classes Bill leads offer him an opportunity to share the love of Jesus while teaching the English language to these people who are in an unfamiliar culture.
Rarely does Bill get to meet the families of his students. But this summer camp is a chance to take entire families on a retreat to the seaside in North Whales. Staying in a hostel, they have four days and three nights to cook, clean, and live together in a relaxed setting.
In this way, Bill and Becky get to know the families and can share the gospel both personally and with the entire group.
Two trips are planned in 2018. The first group will be made up of 30 refugees from Syria (this is only half the number of Syrian refugees that Bill works with). The second group will be comprised of Iranian families and other families from Asia who cannot afford to take the trip without financial assistance. To make it possible for families with children to attend, we offer to cover the cost of the children's lodging, food, and transportation, a cost of about $75 per child.
Your gift to this project will help make ministry to these beautiful people possible. Thank you, in advance, for your generosity.
Your prayers for safe travel and meaningful connections between the Kiddoos and the refugees are also very appreciated!
