Evan* lives in a Central Asian country where it’s nearly impossible for Christians to find employment. Against all odds, he has held a job as a believer thanks to his skills in IT. That stability has enabled Evan to serve as an elder in his church, regularly lead the congregation in worship, and volunteer in the student ministry. His passion and calling is to stay in his country and help build the church, but his job is now requiring him to work unsustainable hours while being underpaid. As a result, Evan has been forced to step down from his leadership roles in the church. That’s why we’re looking to raise $15,000 to offer Evan a paid internship that will allow him to quit his job and learn programming skills from our global workers. This opportunity would be a game-changer for Evan and the local church in this country which has so few male leaders. To help us make a difference for people like Evan, give to our Central Asia Business Development project.
