In 2009, Steve Partridge of Wythall, England, went in for a routine test at the hospital. But the results were not routine. The test revealed kidney cancer.
At first, Steve was angry with God and thought he was being punished for past sins. But before his cancer operation, Steve’s attitude changed when his doctor told him he was very fortunate they had caught it early. The Africa Food Relief project has blessed thousands with food in CAR. The rains having now returned and the emphasis shifts to providing farmers with seed. Pray for a bountiful harvest in the fields and hearts of our CAR family.
Three young couples, Sensenigs (Germany), Gummeres (Ireland), and Horners (England) are in various stages of their preparation for deployment to Europe. In addition, several interns and short-termers will be ministering in places around the continent this summer. Pray for these new laborers in the Harvest!
Praise God for Rey and Alma Paz’s ministry in Ilocos Norte, Philippines. This month Rey baptized six new believers at the church’s Family Day. This church continues to grow and is planting two more churches in the area! Church planting continues to grow in the Philippines.
Pray for Holly High who has recently returned to Corrientes, Argentina. She is having regular Bible studies with unbelievers and great contacts with women in a weekly tea gathering. We’re so thankful to see this ‘new life’ in Corrientes. Pray for more of it!
