Tom and MaryAnn Barlow, GBIM staff London, share exciting news of the birth of a new church in London, called Grace Church Camden, formed from the Saturday ‘acs’ house group that has been meeting for some time. It took many months of prayer and waiting on God to get to this point.

Tom and MaryAnn Barlow, GBIM staff London, share exciting news of the birth of a new church in London, called Grace Church Camden, formed from the Saturday ‘acs’ house group that has been meeting for some time. It took many months of prayer and waiting on God to get to this point.

Jay Hocking, GBIM staff France, asks for prayer for another art day at the Château this Saturday. Since this one is on Valentine's day, there might not be as good an attendance as at other times. Please pray for a good turn out. It's a good chance to build connections with local people, as well as something that believers feel comfortable inviting their friends to. Debbie Hocking will be doing another jewelry workshop, and Jay, a perspective drawing class. Several other workshoops will be offered as well (drama, music, photography, crafts, etc... even a cookie baking workshop!).

Recently Beatte Schlecht (German National Ministry Partner working in Chad) and a Chadian Pastor conducted two sets of classes with married couples, using “True Love Waits” materials. This programs teaches God’s plan for marriage and sexuality and include in depth information about AIDS such as contraction, spread and progression of the disease and, of course, how to protect oneself from it.

John Pappas is now in the States with his mother who suffered a massive stroke last Thursday and was not expected to live. Her 91st birthday was on Feb. 8th. She remains unconscious and under the care of a very capable medical staff in Columbus, Ohio. Hospice has been called in as well. Medically nothing more can be done for her. John writes, “We have great peace from the Lord and Mom is for the most part calm and peaceful.”

Becky Good (GBIM staff Cambodia) sends the following report: "It was a blessing to have Jeremiah & Marcie Olson (the worship pastor from Grace Community Church in Goshen, IN) here last Saturday for a concert in the BMTC. Even though the concert was last-minute, there were 86 people present (most of Jill Kane's English class and all of mine). It left a very positive impression on those who came. Pray as we plan a follow-up activity.

"Especially pray for our team of Cambodian National Ministry Partners as we seek to work together to plant a city church in Batambang. Change is never easy, so pray that we all will be gracious as we change schedules, roles & ideas."
