Mike communicated with local businesses about the church’s intent to host a fundraising event for the Day of Generosity. On the day of the Bowl-a-thon, raffle prizes were arriving at the bowling alley throughout the morning, many coming from local stores. After the games, the event continued at the church, where a family contributed by providing a big spaghetti meal.
Mike’s vision to reach the Filipinos created a true global partnership through the body of Christ. This relationship with Tracy GBC has empowered Olive to share Christ with her fellow Filipinos. Maybe someone in your church has the imagination to initiate a new idea for Day of Generosity, too!
