Update on GBIM Sponsored Hospital in Chad

Matthias Ezel, German national ministry partner in Chad, reports that a large part of his projects have centered around the completion and maintenance of the hospital in Gadjibian, which, since its opening in December, it has had a non-stop flow of patients from the surrounding regions.

Greg Burgess Asks Prayer for Dallas Meetings

Greg Burgess (GBIM staff, France), expects to do a lot of traveling in the next couple of weeks. He plans to fly to Dallas on Monday, where he will:
- Meet with Joel Purcell, the director of the SIM mission’s Pastor’s Book Sets project (PBS). This project will provide a 20-book library and 100-book CD-ROM to 16,000 pastors in French-speaking Africa in 2010
- Meet with Harry Walker, who is project coordinator for the PBS in the Central African Republic, Chad and Cameroon

Good News from Japanese Returnee Ministry

Nao Makino, ministry partner with Cecil Odell, GBIM staff Long Beach, recently returned from a three week trip to Japan. One of his goals was to visit Kuni Sano in Tokyo to encourage him in his spiritual growth and ministry.Nao was so excited to learn that not only is Kuni growing, but there are now three new Bible studies that have been started in three other locations.

Pastor Mboi Traveling to USA Today

Pastor Mboi Andre (President of the Union of Grace Brethren Churches in the Central African Republic) planned to leave the CAR for the USA today, 12th March. Thanks to the generosity of Drs. Russ Woda, Mitch Kennedy, Bruce Gray, Ohio Health, Aiken Grace Brethren Church, GBIM (and many others behind the scenes) for making it possible for Pastor Andre to receive free surgical care for restoration of the function of his right hand.
