Dave Hobert (GBIM staff France) announces a weekend A Rocha conference for April 18-20, to be held at the Chateau. A Rocha is a Christian nature conservation organization, the name being taken from the Portuguese for "the Rock". The Alvor Estuary in southern Portugal was the location of the first initiative, a field study centre. A Rocha has become a family of projects working in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, North and South America and Asia.

GBIM ministries around the globe are asking your prayers for special services they are hosting throughout Easter weekend. Please pray for an outpouring of God’s spirit on churches and Points of Light. Pray that many who have previously been exposed to the very good news of salvation through Jesus Christ would respond as they once again hear the message, and that those who will be hearing for the first time would have spirit-opened ears and hearts.

Karen Foster, GBIM staff Cameroon, reports that a highlight at the Cameroon National Conference was the report of the missions and evangelism committee. People are making small steps in giving, going and responding, in spite of many difficulties.

Rebecca Wright has finished her internship in Columbus, Ohio and plans to be on her way to Chile around the end of May. She will be working with Adriana and Juan Saez, Argentine National Ministry partners working in Curicó, Chile. Rebecca writes, “I'm very excited as I look forward to getting down to Chile and meeting the team I'll be working with down there!”

“The Leesburg, IN. GBC has launched an ESL ministry to reach out to the nations in They had their first evening class on March 11 and the first morning class on March 18. There are about 40 people enrolled in these two classes. Pray that the students will not only learn English but will also see Christ's love through us. The classes at Leesburg will run through May 20. The last class of the school year at WLGBC will be April 30.

“I praise the Lord for the five people from WLGBC who are active in this ESL ministry. They are: Jan Remington, Tina Walker, Jim Dougan, Mandy Swain, and Paulette Kanode.”
