The Chad summer School of Evangelism has begun at Kou Bethanie with around 45 students. This is a different kind of year, with a team of teachers seeking to take up the slack left by the sudden death of Dadje Samuel, director of the school. Larry DeArmey is familiar with the school, having visited Chad several times in past years. He, along with Dave Manduka (Germany) will be teaching the book of Galatians August 12-31. Matthias Ezel (GBIM staff) is also heavily involved in the school, in addition to running a school of metallurgy in Moundou.

Pray for all the Chad staff and visiting professors as they carry a heavy load in less than optimum conditions. Pray that God will give safety, strength, clarity in teaching and sensitivity to the culture.
Pray for good health and freedom from accidents.
Pray that the African evangelists taking the courses will learn the importance of laying no other foundation than Jesus Christ. Pray that they will be open to the Holy Spirit's energizing them for evangelism and holy living.
Dave Manduka
