Praising our sovereign God was the focus of Kandice Robinson's Celebration/Memorial service on Saturday, July 31 held at Warsaw Community GBC. Months ago, Kandice wrote her instructions and wishes for her memorial service. She asked everyone to wear white, the color of mourning in Asia. She requested that several groups be a part of the celebration - GBIM's Team Asia, Warsaw Community GBC, her friends and her family. She did not want things to be sorrowful or traditional. Items that represented her life and passions were sprinkled throughout the room - photos of her life as well as mementos and photos representing her travels and love for beauty, art and the nations.
GBIM's Asia Regional Director, Wayne Hannah, who worked very closely with Kandice shared a tribute about her. You can read the tribute here.
Wayne also referred to an article about loss that Kandice wrote, which you can read in its entirety here.
