Grace Church of Siem Reap Packed Out

Grace Church of Siem Reap Packed Out

Grace church of Siem Reap, Cambodia, where National Ministry Partners Kim Chhom and Pheang Kim Sour pastor, is packed out on Sunday mornings, partly due to the attendance of a group from an organization named White Dove, a safe house for young girls who desire to leave the sex trade. Some of the girls have become Christians, and feel the warm welcome of believers in the church. Two of the girls are attending a Discipleship Training School in Battambang for 6 months.

The church building is located on land that is under the Apsara Authority (Authority for the Protection and Management of Angkor and the Region of Siem Reap), due to its proximity to Angkor Wat, so they cannot sell it or make any changes to the existing building. They are cramped for space, but their funds are low, especially for this expensive city.

Please pray that the church will have wisdom as to how to confront this situation. Pray that their faith will grow stronger as they look to God for answers.

Pray for Pastor Sour who has had a bad sinus infection for six weeks.

Pray for wisdom for those who are working among young girls who are slaves in the sex trade.

Pray for the Organization White Dove, that they will have opportunity to free many of these girls.
