Frank Puhl, GBIM Africa Regional Director is leading discussions on team building, outlook/vision and challenges for the future, and team reports.
Africa missionaries, used to long hours of work, are meeting from 8:00-4:00. Accustomed to arising early, some enjoy beach and swim time before meetings begin. After 4:00 they allow themselves (!) some down time when fellowshipping together includes games and good food.
Please pray for the Africa missionaries as they face huge challenges in many directions. Pray for courage, strength, and persistent asking of God for wisdom.
Pray for trust in God's will, even when not understood, as they continue to deal with the death of beloved brother Dadje.
Pray for cooperation among team members and teams as they have their own specialized interests, that they will desire God's best for all.
Pray for special wisdom as they deal with the pressing needs of a poverty-stricken people, for health needs, education, and living conditions.
Pray for the Christian youth, that they would be well taught in the Word and be drawn into active participation in the churches.
Pray for many churches that are without trained pastors, that God would keep them in the truth of the Word as deacons lead in worship. Pray for God's wisdom in how to best train leadership for these hundreds of churches.
Pray for Dr. Ngoumape François, director of the Seminary and Bible Schools in C.A.R., for wisdom and strength for him in his numerous undertakings and ministries.
