Word has come from the Carvers that Dadje Samuel’s funeral went well as he was laid to rest on the property where he trained so many men and women to serve the Lord as Evangelists and Church-Planters. The men that he trained bore witness to his influence in their lives and have together committed to carrying on the work that was begun through his visionary leadership.
- Please pray for Dadje’s family as they begin life without him. Pray for protection from any who would seek to exploit this situation and for comfort as they continue to grieve.
- Continue to pray for our missionary team in Moundou. They have been so preoccupied with the many details of caring for the funeral and Samuel’s family that they have not had time to stop and work through their own grief.
- Pray for the evangelists who now must move forward in spite of the struggle that they are having with the loss of their faithful friend and mentor.
