Prayer needed for safety at Baghdad Clinic

Prayer needed for safety at Baghdad Clinic

July was worst month for car bombs and explosions and deaths in at least a year.

A woman patient named B came to the clinic asking for medical help and prayer. She also questioned our manager as to why there is so much violence during Ramadan. Her imam (leader) at the mosque told her that Ramadan was a month of fasting and blessing. She did not believe it since her two brothers had been killed by explosions some time ago. Dr. Ghada shared 1Corthians 13 with her and she left with a Bible. Pray for B that she would read her new Bible and understand the love of Jesus that can change her life and give her peace in her current situation.

Ahmed, a young boy, came to the clinic and received a gift box from Samaritan's Purse. The boy's father called the clinic and said that Ahmed was interested in becoming a Christian. Pray for Ahmed and his father that they would understand the free gift of salvation that is available when they put their faith in Jesus.

May the Lord work through the clinic staff in the midst of great physical danger with those that live in Baghdad.

Ramadan ends August 20 so continue to pray for these request.
