Ginger Hock, C.A.R. Field Director gives this update following a telephone conversation with Pastor Nadjilao Simon-Pierre concerning his eye surgery for cataract removal in Morocco. Though he has been released from the hospital, he must remain in the area for continued treatment. He remarked, "I left the hospital Friday the 29th and continue to recover at home. I will go back to the hospital for a check up on the 4th. They are keeping my passport at the hospital, not because of any problem but just to let me know how important it is to complete his treatment.
"My surgery went well, I was only in the operating room for 15 minutes and right away I could see better. I already paid the money (the estimated cost) before being admitted. They said I would require 3 or 4 more weeks before the treatment is completed and they will tell me the total amount when I go Wednesday for the check-up.
"Thanks to God for his blessings, and I thank the director and God and the Mission in CAR and USA. The doctor says I'm still recovering and I will see even better in a month or month and a half as the healing continues. Thank you all for your prayers."
