Please be in prayer for Central African missionaries Doug and Jacquie Jensen. Doug's Mom, Ruth, was recently diagnosed with multiple tumors in her body and she is not expected to live more than six months. Doug is thankful to God that his mom is a strong believer and she and the rest of the family are trusting in the Lord through this. Doug and Jacquie are planning a quick trip back to the U.S. for a couple of weeks the first part of July in order to be with Ruth and the rest of the family in this hour of great need.
Doug asks prayer for the details of their trip to be worked out, for peace and grace to deal with this trial and for the mercy of the Lord to be poured out on his mom - so that she'd not suffer too much. Being far from aging parents, grown children and grandchildren has always been ‘part of the price of obedience' for so many of our deployed staff. We praise the Lord for folks like the Jensen's who are willing to pay that price - for His kingdom and His glory.
