WOW! Last Friday Grace Trust, Cambodian land-holding association, was enabled by God to buy the two lots next to the Ministry Training Center. This is Phase 1 of a project to develop a home for Encompass World Partners' student work in downtown Battambang, Cambodia. Praise God for this answer to long-standing prayers. Please continue to pray and give toward the purchase of the BMTC itself, which is presently being rented. More funds are needed to accomplish this purchase. Target date for beginning the transformations if next dry season, November 2012.
The second WOW is that after about six weeks of relentless trial and error, Kent Good and his landlord Anoch feel that they are close to finishing work on a prototype of the rice-hull gasifying stove. This pilot project of a "Kingdom business" is eco-friendly and should make village life easier and cheaper. Another plus is that it will provide employment for believers and help fund future church-planting in Cambodia. Pray for Dave James and Kevin Kane who hope to set up production by mid year.
