The meetings that have been dreamed of, planned for, and fervently prayed about are now in session at the Chateau de St. Albain in France. GBIM Global Leadership meetings began yesterday. Tomorrow (Sept. 9) mission specialists and GBIM regional directors will join them as they continue to develop GBIM strategy and initiatives.
On Sept 12th-17th regional representatives of Charis converge at the Chateau to discuss global progress of the Charis Commitment to Common Mission which was produced at the Charis meeting two years ago, and seek God's leading for the next steps. This will be the 4th International congress for Charis. GBIM Missionaries and National Church and other leaders from around the globe will be present at these meetings.
- Pray that God will direct the international CHARIS leadership team as they prepare for the September 12-16 encounter
- Pray for guidance as the team plans the next steps for the CHARIS movement
- Pray for safe travels
- Pray for good health
- Pray for good comprehension as many languages and cultures will be represented
- Pray for refreshment, renewing of friendships, mutual teaching and learning during the days they are together
