"At the same time, we are aware that it may soon be God's time to take her home. She has a quiet trust in God for whatever He wants, has a positive, hopeful attitude and is pretty calm. But after 58 years of being married, it's more difficult for my Dad. My Mom is doing well; no symptoms nor pain at this point, for which we are grateful. Because of that, the oncologist said yesterday (Wednesday) that they could delay the decision about chemo.
"They want to travel to visit family before making a decision about treatment so they were glad for this news. Pray that God would show them what He wants in regards to the chemo. Also, please pray for wisdom as we make decisions about the future of my mother's care and what my part should be in that.
"We appreciate and feel much need for prayer right now. Thank you for standing with us."
