Bruce Triplehorn (GBIM staff Brazil) announces that after 20 years serving God in the Belem area of Brazil, they are moving. He writes, "Our plans are to leave the north around February 10 and take our time driving south (1,800 miles - 33 hours, driving time).
"We are going to stop in Uberlandia for a number of days. Lisa (wife) and son Jonathan will stay there with friends while I go to Argentina for meetings. Then we will continue south when I get back. There are meetings happening even now, discussing the exact place that we'll be living.
Our ministry is going to be very different. I know that we will be heavily involved in leadership development and probably working with a friend in starting a new church. Beyond that, we will have to wait to see what details the Lord works out."
Please pray for stamina for sorting, packing and giving away, and for emotional strength as they say good-bye to many dear friends.
Pray for safety and accident-free travel.
Pray for wisdom as decisions are made concerning their future location and ministry.
