January was a difficult month and there were four bombs that exploded in the neighborhood of the Bag. clinic. One was close enough that some of the glass windows were broken. However, praise God that the staff and clinic were protected and, as before during times like these, more neighbors came to the clinic because it is a safe place to receive help. Over 400 patients visited the clinic in January. It is normal that conditions will get worse right before elections. Our manager is taking the opportunity to share with visitors where people can find real safety and protection. Many neighbors recognize that Christ offers peace, love and forgiveness. Pray that they would personally taste and know this kind of relationship with our Father and begin to see healing in this country.
Two women have come to know our Father. Last month these two sisters came to the clinic for help and returned again this month. They shared that their father was M. but their mother was C-atholic. One of the sisters married a M. man but they both wanted to be bap-tized as believers. After an hour discussion to explain the Gospel, they both wanted to accept J. as their Sa-vior. Pray for these two women as they relate to their family, with this change in their lives. Pray that the M. husband would see the positive impact of J. in the life of his wife.
Praise the Lord for the growing reputation of the clinic. People from increasingly farther distances are coming to the clinic to "receive the medicines from the Lord J.." They are hearing of the true healer.
Pray that the clinic will receive NGO registration (non-government organization) which will provide legal status and government recognition.
