SPIRITUAL HELP TO THE CZECH REPUBLIC

SPIRITUAL HELP TO THE CZECH REPUBLIC

"We need to pray that we won't grow weary in the task that God has given us to do, writes George Swain, GBIM staff in the Czech Republic."

"The key question is how to get hundreds of people who have heard our testimony and seen our lives, to trust Christ and become a part of our church.

We asked two of our people in our church this week about this question. Marie said, "Well the Czech people are just not mature. Our testimony is good. They are glad to hear it. But they are not at the point in their lives where they can accept it personally. It remains with them. When something happens to them or they hear it again, then they begin to think about it. I think that our main work now is prayer."

The other lady, Tamera, has been a Christian for over 30 years. She has witnessed to many people over that time but doesn't remember anyone except family members who have become Christians. She said, "It is the work of the Holy Spirit".

Please join us in fasting and praying for our church in the Czech Republic.
Pray for encouragement and Rock-bound faith that God will accomplish his plan for his Church in the Czech Republic.
Pray for wisdom for Czech believers to be led to people who will be responsive.
