Rapid growth among the churches of the Central African Republic has created a tremendous leadership training opportunity.
Currently, less than 50% of the 2,700 registered churches are led by trained pastors. In order to effectively train new leaders, the James Gribble Leadership Training Complex is underway! This is a joint partnership between Encompass and Grace Brethren Churches in the Central African Republic to provide a home for training a new generation of leaders. The master plan focuses on creating a healthy learning environment that includes classrooms, offices and student housing for the seminary, the Doctor of Ministry program and the new schools of Evangelism and Youth Leadership.
Site construction was launched in 2010. Four duplexes (eight houses) are currently being used for classrooms while the Learning Center is under construction. There is an urgent need for financing the security wall, gatehouse, water system and internal roads.
