2012 Board Election

Dear Encompass Partners:

I am so excited about what is happening here at Encompass World Partners (formerly Grace Brethren International Missions).  God is blessing and I want to share some praise and prayer items with you.

Plans for our new Atlanta ministry center took a significant step forward last month with the addition of Jesus and Rosa Munoz, veteran church planters. Jesus is currently transitioning out of his most recent Hispanic church plant, located in Valrico FL.  He is excited to help ensure that regional ethnic minority ministries form an important part of the Atlanta office.  Please pray with us as we continue to explore ways to encourage creative and aggressive disciple-making ministries using multinational teams.  God is giving us a door of opportunity to partner with ethnic churches right here in North America.

We are thankful for each one of you.  For more than 111 years, men and women like you have joined forces through Encompass World Partners to reach our world for Christ with the message of His love and grace. Together we accomplish so much more than any one of us could accomplish alone. We would love to hear from you with questions or comments that you have regarding the mission and the path we are pursuing.  Please feel free to write us or call us at any time.  We are “workers together...” – with each other and with God.  (I Cor. 3:5-9)  You are a vital part of the team.

Most of you are also members of a Grace Brethren church and have contributed  $50 or more to any ministry through Encompass (GBIM) during the past year.  According to our bylaws, you are a member of the corporation and therefore eligible to vote in the selection of our new Board members. The candidates have been carefully screened and were approved to appear on the ballot at our Annual Corporation Meeting (July 2011).  If confirmed by a majority vote, they will join current board members to form the team responsible for the strategic and financial oversight of our organization. If you are a member of the corporation, I hope you will take a moment right now to carefully consider these candidates and vote now. To ensure your privacy, your ballot will be separated from any personal information you submit.
